Obama for President: Arizona the End Game

Would it not be outstanding if Senator Obama sank Senator McCain aka McSlime in his home state.

According to AZ/PBS Obama is ahead 2 point from 27 ahead in September.

McCain according to the Gallop dailies' has not been ahead at all that I know of: To-day's Obama is ahead 5 points.

Add this, To-day the Obama campaign officially said it is starting a run here an end game {my words} for Arizona.

President Obama's First Test & Opportunity

Well new elections take all chance of an early peace prize in Israel away from President Bush, and that is not a bad thing.

What it will do is create a major diplomatic item on the desk of the newly elected President Obama: I think we know that Sen. McCain has lost the election already. Especially if you take into account the early ballot numbers.

No cavalry coming for McCain

AMEN.

I have read very few articles directly dealing with Senator McCain (who I now call McSlime) since he named Governor Palin his VP choice. But this Politico article's title (No Cavalry Coming For McCain) made it a must read. Further to that end I have posted this article to every Web / Social site that I am a member of, eg., Digg, Mixx, StumbleUpon, etc.

This quote from the article was well cool. "“Republican donors, at the end of day, aren’t stupid,” said another Republican familiar with third-party activities this cycle. “They’re not going to throw good money after bad.""

I was so relived to read that the McCain campaign and the GOP are both thought to have lost any chance of magic funding to try to really go after Senator Barrak Obama. What were they going to dig up, is just more of the same. I am sure it would have been further slanted, twisted and made to be no longer an event of the past, but now a slur or an lie with their degree of twisting the facts.

Speaking of facts the McCain campaign, the GOP and to a much lesser degree the Obama campaign, and the DNC have given organizations like Fact Check dot org and others a whole new lease or tenure on life. The problem here is that not enough of the every day public read them; let alone on a daily basis. Nor has the everyday media given these reports sufficient play. Sorry I am drifting off point.

Bottom line I read THIS article completely and felt so much better, knowing that both McCain and the GOP were not going to grab hold of a suddenly appearing magic wand. That I in fact slept very well last night.

Thank you - Politico

Will the Supreme Court ruling effect the election

"The Supreme Court Puts Ideology Aside in Deciding a Small But Important Ohio Election Case that Could Affect the 2008 Presidential Election"
===========================================

I wanted to save this article to be able to look at it later. The importance of this case will be huge. First after the election and; secondly its effect on many Presidential elections.

Further will there be any additional actions, before or after the election regarding Ohio, or for that matter any other state.

In the endgame, metrics adding up for Obama

Several key factors don't look too good for McCain

What a wonderful op-ed to wake up to. It appears that Obama will win and that McCain has dug himself deeply into a hole named, I Lose.

A Billboard from Missouri & My Soap Box

With this billboard I am climbing up on my soap box.

This is the kind of terrible hatred that the far right is slinging around as the polls for Sen McCain, aka McSlime; keep going south.

I for one have had my fill or the Republican / McCain lie machine!

You do realize that Senator Obama's outstanding statesmen like actions are now showing in the polls of Virgina and West Virgina. To name only two, the Obama election is heading towards landslide numbers.

While the estimated numbers in Congress are so impressive that the Obama Biden team may end up entering the White House; with a Super Majority in both houses; the Senate and the House of Represenatives, a dream come true for at least 2 years. While the Senate is the most important to forestall, yee ol', filibusters and other tatacis that stop all bills from having their day on the floor as the Fathers of the Constitution planned.

Secretary of State Powell - What a gentlemen

Well the day is finally here. General Powell has come forward and has endorsed Sen Barrack Obama. He kindly spoke well of Sen McCain -- they are old friends (Gen Powell is an Republican) and quoted reasons that he has decided to at this point decided to say "I will vote for Senator Obama".

Against McCain he counted not in his order, The party going further right, The pick of Gov Palin. who is not ready to be commander in chief; The robo-calls on the Aryers matter and many others. Including his distress over McCains being all over the plate on the economic melt down.

He praised Sen Obama of his statesmanship steadiness, He agrees that Obama is indeed ready to assume the office of President and that of Commander and Chief.

Powell noted that McCain would be sad that he (Powell) let him down.

My view: I always thought that when he acquired enough facts he would in a most correct manner come out for one of them.

Further note that he clearly repeated that he does not want a position in the new administration. most willing to Advise but not be a Secetary eg. I bet he will be the White House in some position or a very often unofficial visitor.

Till next time, on this subject;

Respectfully;

Justices Rule Against Ohio G.O.P. in Voting Case

The "Republi-scums" indeed must be getting stone drunk over the Courts rule that they can not steal the election, in Ohio.

Now there's the threat to go to the Ohio state supreme court; which mounts an interesting question, what are they now up to now. Someone better have some emergency writs ready for the U.S. Supreme court.

There are funny games going on in other states too. So I hope there are many of us who blogg at Digg, Mixx, StumbleUpon; or any blogg you work with, that will keep their eyes open and broadcast anything they find anywhere at the blogg site(s) of their choice!!

The more eyes we have open looking out for stealing votes this very special election year is of the up most importance.

A dearest friend just texted me that now the republicans will accuse the Democrats of stealing the election. {I replied is the glass ever half full.}

Washington Post Endorses Obama

What great news

That the Washington Post waited till this point in time to make a formal endorsement in my view make it of higher value. They thought out and weighed everything said and done before extending this honor.

My thanks for the Washington Post and; Congratulations to Sen Obama.

N. Korea stirs the world's pot; worst timing

Right now the world is in the middle of an economic crisis not seen since the 1930's. The Executives of the world have their respective plate's full. The Unites States is close to a Presidential & Congressional election. As I said a full plate.

Along comes North Korea, who just backed down from resuming nuclear work - but got its name removed from the terror list. So what do they do to stay in the spotlight, and turn many more on? They threaten to break relations with South Korea, Yikes. A break in diplomatic relations is considered a serious action/event.

Forget not that the war between the two in the 1950's has never been officially ended, there is a Cease Fire.

Well I hope that we (the world Executive powers) all jump them and that might just include some covert talks by Senators' McCain and Obama [alpha order]. Tell them BOTH to cool it and say so in no uncertain terms -- but not publicly at this time. They (N. Korea) will have to save face. Weather we like that or not, that is how it is in that part of the world. That culture fact is way to often forgotten. We need to take the high road.

A SSDI Raise for 2009

Well at least we get a (annual) raise of more then a token amount for 2009; in fact it will be 5.8%

I was very surprised to find that my benefit is more then that is for most recipients. I wonder if being an SSDI (received benefits early due to disability) accounts for any change in the averages.

Alas now my saving and 401K are gone. I would not be in very bad shape if it was not for the MediCare Medi-Gap; which is a time period where there is no Prescription drug coverage! {I'll write on that in detail later, working on it.}

This MSNBC/AP article was a wonderful surprise to wake up to. :)

Transplants are a Cadillac

I am adding this link to George's review as he is one of my most respected reporters.

The comment I want to make [below] is an observation of mine of tonight's debate and not anything to do with Nightline or George Stephanopoulos' Op-Ed.

Did anyone else notice on Health Care that John McCain spoke of TRANSPLANTS being in the Cadillac category of Health Care. Senator McCain therefore you do not consider a Heart or Kidney transplant to be a norm but a luxury to Americans, if so, shame on you.
Another reason I am glad that I voted (already mailed my ballot) for Sen Obama!!

The Country {USA} is safe today

The Title says it all.

The country will be safe today with VP Cheney out of the White House today. Or at least the percentage's are better.

Well now I've done it, I created my own blog so I can post some thoughts I want to recall or for others to see. Still want to post to Mixx, Digg, & Stumble Upon etc, but darn I want to own some of them. To be able to go back to and relive etc.
